Chinese Drywall Can Leave You Without Insurance



I wanted to share this link to a news piece about the growing problem surrounding Chinese drywall. First, the only way to determine if you have this type of drywall in your home, after it has been installed is by smell. If you smell rotten eggs, then it is the drywall. (Well, you can send a sample to be tested; however that is a long/expensive process.) The areas are limited (most of the product went to Florida; I have not heard of a case in Houston yet).
